There will be some different faces leading a few teams this season

New Leadership in Places Across the League
There are some new people in leadership across the league heading into season two of the AUSL. Out of the four inaugural teams, only the Talons will return the same GM and head coach duo with Lisa Fernandez and Howard Dobson. Those were confirmed today, along with Jami Lobpries as the General Manager for the Cascade, who still has not named a head coach at this time.
The Bandits will now be coached by Shonda Stanton, who leads the Indiana Hoosiers softball program, and Kara Dill will take over for the Blaze. Dill leads the UT-Arlington softball program, and has done so since July of 2022. She was also the Associate Head Coach last season for the Blaze. Ricci Woodard, who leads Texas State’s softball program will now take on the Volts.
The Oklahoma City Spark, as previously announced, will move forward with Kirk Walker as the GM and Amber Flores as the head coach. Flores has led the Spark throughout the existence of the team.
