Scenic City Fall Set For Another Big Weekend Of Softball
It is that time again, as the Connect Sports Scenic City Fall Softball Tournament will take place this weekend across Chattanooga and North Georgia. This year’s event is set to host 396 teams representing 31 states, along with a few from Canada, according to Connect Sports. Age divisions from 14U to 18U will be on display, each team hoping to finish with a championship on Sunday.
Scenic City always attracts a strong group of collegiate coaches from every division of college softball. While every player dreams of competing at the next level, this weekend is a real chance to catch the attention of someone watching. Building relationships is still a part of process, but presenting yourselves the right way is an important place to start, whether on the field or off it.
A strong collection of programs made the trip to Scenic City Fall last year, bringing together coaches from all levels of the game. Power Four programs like Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, Iowa, Notre Dame, and Florida State were on hand, along with respected mid major staffs from Illinois State, Liberty, Delaware, Troy, and Southeast Missouri State. Junior college programs such as Walters State, Roane State, and Dyersburg State were also in attendance, which shows the wide reach and recruiting impact this showcase continues to have.

Connect Sports has everything you need information wise at connectsportsevents.com. The full schedule and results for every age division are available, along with the AGL Leaderboard powered by Athletes Go Live. They also provide a link to a Live Traffic Tracker powered by TDOT’s Smartway, which helps you see what areas to avoid when traveling between complexes.
Out of the three age divisions, 16U has the deepest set of competition with 24 total pools that include 144 teams, along with four Super Pools. There is plenty of good ball on tap this weekend. The 2025 Scenic City Fall All Star Games will take place on Friday at Warner Park beginning at 6:00 PM, with 10 games scheduled across the complex.
Scenic City Top 25 will take place in Dalton, Georgia and Rocky Face, Georgia. This setup is widely viewed as the best of the best and will feature all three age groups, including 14U. Connect Sports added 14U to the Top 25 mix during the summer tournament, and it is the smallest Top 25 group with 12 teams across four pools. The 16U division will include 53 teams, and the 18U division will feature 33 teams.
I will be on hand here and there, roaming the area throughout the weekend. I look forward to seeing great competition and wish everyone the best of luck.
