Florida Vibe Adds Talent to Fall Roster, Sets SEC Showdowns
Florida Vibe Softball Fall Action
Softball is like the gift that keeps on giving. It is never really over, and for us that is a beautiful thing. The Florida Vibe professional softball team announced five players who will be on the roster for their fall competitions.
The Florida Vibe roster will feature some familiar faces along with a few new additions to their Vibe family. These five are just the beginning of the fall team announcements, as more players are expected to be added soon. The Vibe revealed Katie Kistler, Ashley Prange, Valerie Cagle, Catelyn Riley, and AJ Andrews as part of the roster.
Kistler, Prange, and Andrews are no strangers to the Florida Vibe, as they have competed for the Vibe in past years. Joining the roster for the first time are 2023 USA Softball Player of the Year Valerie Cagle and 2025 NFCA First Team All-Region selection from Alabama, Catelyn Riley.
You may wonder who a professional softball team will face in the fall. The answer is a couple of SEC powerhouses in the Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators.
The Vibe will take on Florida on October 12 in Gainesville, serving as the perfect finale to the Michele Smith Classic that will be held that weekend in Newberry, Florida. On November 8, they will face the Bulldogs in Athens, Georgia.
Getting the chance to see high-level softball players face two of the top collegiate programs in the SEC and Division I will be both exciting for fans and valuable for the college teams. Their players will gain experience competing against professional talent, making it a meaningful event on both sides.
