Arkansas Lands Big Bat as Cal Transfer Tianna Bell Commits to the Razorbacks
With USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Bri Ellis graduating and now in the pros, Arkansas needed a big-time bat and a reliable infielder to help fill that massive void in the lineup. Today, they got one.
Tianna Bell, a junior transfer from Cal, announced she is joining the Razorbacks for the upcoming season. Bell had a standout year at the plate in 2024, leading the Golden Bears with 15 home runs, 54 RBIs, and a slugging percentage of .659.

Over her three years at Cal, Bell was a cornerstone of their offense. She appeared in 151 games, starting 148 of them, and posted a career batting average of .305 with 32 home runs and 108 RBIs. Defensively, she was just as reliable, recording a .986 fielding percentage across her time in Berkeley.
Now she brings that experience and power to Fayetteville, where she should thrive under Head Coach Courtney Deifel, who is a Cal alum. With Bell stepping in, the Hogs have found a strong answer to the gap left by Ellis.
