Former Ole Miss Standout Heads to Norman to Join Patty Gasso’s Pitching Staff
Former Ole Miss Rebel, Miali Guachino, has committed to play for the legendary Patty Gasso and the Oklahoma Sooners.
The right-hander from Pala, California, made her presence felt right away in the SEC. As a true freshman in 2025, Guachino appeared in 38 games and made 26 starts for the Rebels. She finished the season with a 14-11 record, a 3.65 ERA, and struck out 160 batters across 136 innings. Opponents hit just .226 against her.
Guachino is a strong addition for Oklahoma, bringing another dependable arm into an already loaded pitching staff. She’s an immediate impact piece in the circle and stays in the SEC, where she’s already proven she can compete.
Under Coach Gasso and Assistant Coach Jennifer Rocha, Guachino will have all of the opportunities to improve her craft under their guidance.
