Former UConn Two-Way Standout Hope Jenkins Commits to Ole Miss
Hope Jenkins “Hotty Toddy”
Just a couple weeks ago, Hope Jenkins announced that she was entering the transfer portal out of UConn. Jenkins is a true two-way talent who played alongside her twin sister Grace for the Huskies and made her mark both in the circle and at the plate.
Today, Jenkins made it official, she’ll complete her college eligibility in Oxford, Mississippi, joining Coach Jamie Trachsel’s Ole Miss program.
With Miali Guachino recently transferring out of Ole Miss, Jenkins steps into a position of immediate impact. She brings proven experience in the circle, finishing the 2025 season with an 11-3 record and a 4.00 ERA over 110.1 innings pitched. Jenkins also struck out 76 batters and consistently gave the Huskies a chance to win.
But her value doesn’t stop there. Hope Jenkins was just as productive with the bat, slashing .269/.299/.471 with 32 hits, five home runs, nine doubles, and 22 RBIs in 36 games (33 starts). She added 16 runs scored, posted seven multi-hit games, and rode a seven-game hitting streak during the heart of the season.
Hope Jenkins brings SEC-ready tools to Oxford, and her experience as a two-way player will be a key asset for Ole Miss. With her addition, the Rebels add depth, power, and poise on both sides of the ball heading into 2026.
