Crimson Tide Lands Talented Two-Way Player, Brooke Wells
Coach Patrick Murphy and the Alabama Crimson Tide picked up a big addition with a commitment from Houston transfer Brooke Wells.
Wells, a native of Round Rock, Texas, made an immediate impact in her freshman season with the Houston Cougars. She hit .341 with 10 home runs and 47 RBIs across 47 games played. In the circle, she also logged nine appearances, finishing the year with a 4.91 ERA, nine strikeouts, and a 1-1 record.
Wells was listed on the D1Softball D100 Freshman Watch List and also competed as a member of the USA Softball Women’s Junior National Team, 18U. She most recently competed at the WBSC World Cup Group Stage last fall.
With three years of eligibility remaining, Wells has the tools to become a major contributor for the Crimson Tide.
